These guidelines apply wherever Lyx is used: in servers with the bot, in the Lyx support server, on lyx.lol and on Lyx Discovery. They sit on top of Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which always apply.
Not allowed
- Harassment, threats, doxxing or encouraging others to target someone.
- Hate speech or attacks on people for who they are.
- Scams, phishing, fake giveaways, fake Nitro and anything that tries to take accounts, money or personal details.
- Sexual content involving minors, in any form. This is reported to Discord and, where the law requires, to the authorities.
- Adult content outside servers and channels that are clearly 18+.
- Illegal goods, services or content.
- Pretending to be Lyx staff, Discord staff or anyone else.
- Using Lyx to raid, spam or nuke servers, or to get around another server's moderation.
- Abusing Lyx itself: exploiting bugs, overloading the bot or API, getting around limits or restrictions, or making false reports.
What happens when the guidelines are broken
Inside a server, that server's own moderators decide what to do. Lyx staff act when someone breaks these guidelines or Lyx's Terms: they can remove Discovery listings and blacklist accounts or servers from Lyx, as described in the Blacklist and Appeals Policy.
To report something, use lyx.lol/report. Security problems go to lyx.lol/security.
