Discord direct messages
Lyx contacts you by a direct message from the Lyx bot on Discord when something affects you: a blacklist on your account or a server you own, updates and decisions on your appeals, the outcome of reports you sent, Discovery listing approvals, requested changes and removals, and (for staff applicants) your application. Servers you are in can also have Lyx DM you about their own moderation actions, if they turn that on.
No email
Lyx does not collect email addresses and does not send email. Sign-in is only through Discord. Any email claiming to be from Lyx is not from Lyx.
If your DMs are closed
If you do not accept DMs from Lyx, decisions still apply. You can always see your restrictions and appeals at lyx.lol/restrictions, your reports at lyx.lol/report, and a server's Discovery status on its dashboard.
Staying safe
Lyx and Lyx staff will never ask for your password, a login code or your Discord token, and never send "free Nitro" links. Report anyone who does at lyx.lol/report.
