What to include in a report

A report with these details can be acted on the same day. Without them it usually needs a round trip.

Where it happened: the server name and ID, and the channel.
Who: user IDs, not display names — names change.
When: a date and rough time, with a timezone if you can.
What: links to the messages, or screenshots that show the context.
What you have already done: warned, timed out, banned, or nothing yet.

Do not send passwords, tokens or 2FA codes — to us or to anyone. Lyx staff will never ask for them.

Response times

The support server is answered by volunteers, usually within a day. Security reports are read first. Appeals are reviewed in the order they arrive; a decision is written back to the same form.
