These terms cover the Lyx Discord bot and the websites at lyx.lol, api.lyx.lol and help.lyx.lol. By inviting the bot or using the dashboard you agree to them. If you do not agree, remove the bot and stop using the sites.
What Lyx is
Lyx is a free Discord bot that provides moderation tools, automatic moderation, leveling, welcome and goodbye messages, logging, utilities and small fun commands. There is no paid tier and no feature is held back behind a payment.
Your responsibilities
- You must have permission to add the bot to a server and to change that server's settings.
- You are responsible for how moderation tools are configured in your server, including any punishments applied automatically.
- Do not use Lyx to harass people, evade Discord's terms, or process unlawful content.
- Do not attempt to overload, reverse engineer or abuse the API, the bot or the dashboard.
Availability
Lyx is provided as-is, without a service level agreement. The bot may go offline for maintenance, Discord outages or hosting issues. Features may change or be removed. Data is backed up on a best-effort basis, not guaranteed.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Lyx is not liable for lost data, lost access, moderation decisions made by your staff or automatic rules you configured, or any indirect damages arising from use of the service.
Termination
You can stop using Lyx at any time by removing the bot from your server. Access to the dashboard can be revoked if the service is abused. Server settings are kept if the bot is removed and re-added, so you can return without reconfiguring everything.
