What a blacklist is
Lyx staff can blacklist a Discord account or a whole server for breaking Lyx's Terms or Community Guidelines, for example scams, raids, abusing Lyx, or serious harm to others.
- A blacklisted account cannot use Lyx's commands, buttons, rewards or website features in any server. Joining another server does not get around it. Lyx's automatic moderation still applies to it.
- Lyx leaves a blacklisted server, and leaves again if it is added back. Lyx also leaves a server it was added to by, or that is owned by, a blacklisted account.
- Blacklists last a set time (from 1 day to 1 year) or are permanent. Permanent blacklists can only be issued by a Lyx admin or owner.
How decisions are made
- Only Lyx staff whose position allows it can issue or lift a blacklist. Each blacklist records the reason, the evidence, who issued it and when it ends, and every action is kept in Lyx's staff log.
- AI tools may help staff understand a case, but a person always decides. The AI never issues a blacklist.
- You are told by Discord DM when you, or a server you own, are blacklisted, with the reason you are allowed to see. Reporter names and private evidence are never shared.
Appeals
- Go to lyx.lol/restrictions while signed in. You will see the block, the reason, and when it ends. The person blacklisted, or the owner of a blacklisted server, can appeal most blacklists.
- Explain honestly what happened. Staff may ask for more information; their message shows on the page and arrives by DM.
- Staff approve the appeal (the blacklist ends straight away) or reject it. Only senior moderators, admins and owners can decide. You are told the result by DM.
- One appeal at a time per blacklist. After a rejection you can appeal again 30 days later.
