Role menus and reaction roles
/rolemenu create title:"Colours" roles:@Red @Blue @Green posts a menu. Pick type: buttons (default), a dropdown, or reactions (give one emojis per role, like ๐ด ๐ต ๐ข). Set mode to "only one role at a time" for things like colours.
You can also build, edit and delete role menus on the dashboard Server tools tab, with a live preview; Lyx posts or updates the message within a few seconds.
Change a menu later with /rolemenu add or /rolemenu remove and the message link. /rolemenu list shows them all. Roles with moderator or admin permissions can never go in a menu, and Lyx's role must be above the roles it hands out.
Auto roles
/autorole add role:@Member gives a role to everyone who joins; add bots:true for a role just for bots. With verification on, people get their auto roles when they verify (change with /autorole settings).
Join-to-create voice
/voice setup creates a "โ Join to create" channel. Joining it gives you your own voice channel in the same category, deleted when everyone leaves.
The owner can use /voice rename, /voice limit, /voice lock, /voice unlock and /voice permit. Lyx needs Manage Channels and Move Members.
Stats channels
/statschannel add type:members creates a locked voice channel named like "Members: 1,204" in a "๐ Server Stats" category. Types: members, people, bots, boosts, roles, channels; up to 5. They update every 10 minutes, the fastest Discord allows.
Nicknames
/nicknames dehoist enabled:true removes "!", "." and similar from the start of names so nobody jumps to the top of the member list; add fix_everyone_now:true to fix current members. /nicknames join-format sets a nickname on join, using {username} or {name}.
Custom commands
/tag create name:rules content:"Read #rules, {user}!" makes !rules and /tag show rules. Placeholders: {user}, {username}, {server}, {membercount}, {channel} and {args} (whatever comes after the command).
Optional: required_role (only they can use it), give_role and remove_role (for example a !pingme that gives a notifications role), and delete_trigger. Free servers get 10 custom commands, Server Premium 100.
Backups
/backup create saves roles (names, colours, permissions), categories and channels (with their permissions, topics and slowmode) and every Lyx setting. The newest 5 are kept; messages are not backed up.
/backup preview shows what is missing compared with a backup. /backup restore confirm:true re-creates only what is missing, matched by name, and never changes or deletes anything that exists, so it is safe after a nuke. Add settings:true to put Lyx's settings back too. Administrators only.
The dashboard Server tools tab can make a backup, show what each one holds and what is missing, and delete old ones.
