Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding Lyx ("the Bot") to your Discord server, using the Lyx dashboard at lyx.lol, accessing the API at api.lyx.lol, or using any Lyx services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

2. Description of Service

Lyx is a Discord server management bot providing moderation, auto-moderation, logging, welcome messages, role management, and a web dashboard for configuration. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

3. User Responsibilities

You must have appropriate permissions to add bots to the Discord server
You are responsible for all activity under your server's configuration
You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
You will not use Lyx for illegal activities, harassment, spam, or abuse
You will not attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or disrupt the service

4. Data and Privacy

Your use of Lyx is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein.

5. Moderation and Content

Lyx provides moderation tools but does not monitor or control user content. Server owners are responsible for content in their servers. Lyx reserves the right to disable service for servers violating these terms or Discord's policies.

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, Discord API outages, or other factors may cause downtime. No SLA is provided for the free tier.

7. Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Material changes to these terms will be communicated via the support server or dashboard.

8. Termination

You may remove Lyx from your server at any time. We may terminate access for violations of these terms, Discord's terms, or extended inactivity (90+ days).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lyx and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the service operator resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
